Nike needed to execute a 5-city national tour that coincided with the Lionsgate Films release of the LeBron James documentary "More Than A Game". The 5-city tour culminated with the final event in LA at Hollywood & Highland.
1124 Design convinced Nike to install a $100K visual banner at the top of the main entrance into Hollywood & Highland of LeBron that could be seen from Hollywood Blvd. along with interactive setups throughout the city street. We also invited over 30 celebrities to participate in a celebrity basketball game.
1124 Design negotiated with the City of Hollywood using its keen relationship and local lobbyist to convince the city to allow for a complete street closure of Hollywood Blvd. for the event. This was the first street closure granted for a non-theatrical film release in Hollywood. The event drew over 25,000 participants and spectators.
